Art for me is a developing process meaning there’s no final stage so I keep wanting to change it or destroy it — destroying is my favourite part of the process. I wish I had more experience with mediums other than acrylic. I find acrylic paint binding especially with the texture I had in mind.

Saul Bellow (A Canadian American writer) in a 1965 interview, says “I feel that art has something to do with the achievement of stillness in the midst of chaos. A stillness that characterises prayer, too, and the eye of the storm. I think that art has something to do with the arrest of attention in the midst of distraction”. This speaks to me.
