Born 1988, from Thimphu
My work is a spontaneous creative process, exploring and combining dualities of abstraction and representation. It is a visible platform of the outer physical realm and inner awareness.
I am interested in the use of lines as forms. My mark-making process has a ritualistic and dance-like movement to it.
I use the unique textiles and architecture of Bhutan to create an engaging visual journey that guides the viewer’s eye around the canvas. The emotive power of vibrant colors conveys feelings of joy, bliss, and a sense of positivity, a reflection of my own feelings.
