Happiness in Positive

Art Description

We believe that the vajra represents one’s soul. If one’s soul can bind the five senses and keep them away from negative nature, one will know true happiness within. If the five senses are directed toward positive nature, one will heal from all the sufferings and will achieve true happiness.

TANDIN TSHERING

Born 1999, from Punakha

As a student, I was more interested in art than academics. My father was disappointed when I didn’t do well in Class 10, and couldn’t continue in free public school. But I was excited to join the School of Thirteen Traditional Arts. I was inspired by one of the teachers, Tshewang Tenzin, from whom I learned a lot. Even during my off days I used to visit his art studio, Art United. He never fails to teach us in many different ways. Six years later, upon graduation from the institute, he took me into Art United as part of his special team and motivated me to be a successful artist. What I am today is all thanks to him, my favourite and only teacher.
