Buddha is an exemplary figure of inner peace, as the man who has awakened from all the sufferings. If we choose to feel true happiness, the path Lord Buddha took is a perfect example to each and every one of us to follow. I created this art to remind everyone to realise true happiness can be found if you start to seek it within.

Tashi Wangdi
Born 1995, from Mongar
I am Tashi Wangdi from Art United, a group of traditional Bhutanese artists. As a young student, not very good in studies but with a natural flair for art, I joined the School of Thirteen Traditional Arts. There I met my mentor, Tshewang Tenzin who believed I could pursue a career as a professional artist. I graduated in 2021 and am now working full time with Art United.
