Tashi Choden
Born 1989 from Mongar
My name is Tashi Choden. I was born in 1989 in the village of Narang located in the eastern region of Bhutan, known for its rich cultural heritage. The village is deeply rooted in traditional practices and is primarily dependent on agriculture for its livelihood.
From a young age, painting has been a strong passion for me. In 2008, I pursued my interest by enrolling at Tashi Yangtse College of Zorig Chusum, where I honed my skills over six years of dedicated training. Thanks to the unwavering support of my teachers and parents, I
was able to focus on my craft without facing significant challenges. Currently, I work as a professional painter under the Department of Procurement and Property. With a deep love for art, I am committed to continuously learning and participating in the artistic community.
