Zambala is the god of prosperity, depicted here as the Yab-Yum (father-mother), to symbolize love and the unification of knowledge and action. The Mandala, a depiction of the ideal universe, completes this image, to show that prosperity of the body, mind and soul comes from enlightenment and understanding.

I am lucky to have been inspired by and to learn from my father and grandfather, both great traditional artists. I like to paint in the traditional style, and depict subjects either from traditional art, like deities, or Bhutanese imagery- temples and landscapes. There is a unique beauty in them that I feel helps channel my own sense of being. I wish to pass on my knowledge and love for art to my children and future generations, just as I inherited them from my ancestors.
