Born 1974, from Mongar

I come from the quiet beauty of Shermuhung, tucked away in the Mongar district. I embraced the hermit life at a tender age, and it was from there that my artistic journey commenced, without any formal training in the art field. My father-in-law’s traditional artistry sparked something in me. Since 1989, I’ve
been painting under the Department of Procurement Property. But even after all this time, I still feel there’s so much more to explore in the world of art. It’s like a never-ending adventure of learning and creating.
