The Art of Happiness: Balancing the Phenomena
Art Description
The skeleton with eight hands and the cosmic mandala ring around it, meditating on a lotus flower denotes the equilibrium of all aspects without which one’s happiness is incomplete. Each hand holds an object signifying an aspect- flower for purity, gem for wealth, wheel for dharma, vajra for uprightness, double vajra for conviction, and the sun and moon for constancy and change. Life is a circle of death and rebirth, symbolized by the skeleton and the cosmic mandala ring around the skeleton.

Born 1995, from Samdrupjongkhar
I completed a 6-year course in Lhadri (traditional painting) from the National Institute of Zorig Chusum in 2020.
I have been indulging in art since childhood, drawing cartoon characters for fun. Then gradually I grew interested in exploring other forms of art. I decided to join the National Institute of Zorig Chusum (School of Thirteen Crafts) to further boost my skills. Meeting the teachers and many other artists with their own unique ideas really helped me learn a lot. I am so grateful that I worked hard at sharpening my skills for the last six years and finally graduated in 2020.
