Born 1973, from Pema Gatshel

My love for music was born when my uncle Ata Yeshey, would come for vacation and teach me. Under his care I joined the Royal Academy of Performing Arts in Thimphu.

Assisting my teacher in making various musical instruments inspired me to make my own and I got the opportunity to perform in 13 different countries.

In 2013, I resigned to make instruments full time. I teach school children as well as individuals interested in making and playing these instruments.
