Born 1976, From Paro
My love for art began in childhood. I studied traditional painting in Bhutan and went to Darjeeling, India to learn more about the Tibetan art tradition, and then spent two years studying commercial art in Delhi, India. After years of learning, I started creating and exhibiting with the help of Asha Kama and VAST Bhutan which led to my artwork being exhibited in Fukuoka, Japan. Art for me is a meditative process. I create contemporary works of art, Thangka (scroll) paintings, and surrealist art.
